🅘Starting in 2026, all Athletes aged 18 and older must have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Adult Athlete ID for $39.50. Athletes who bought it in 2025 for $35 will need to purchase a $4.50 add-on in January 2026. This is a requirement for participation in the National Team Pipeline, including receiving access to take an NCSI background check and SafeSport Training before participating in a USA Football Event.

USA Football Adult Talent ID Camps give athletes from all sports a pathway to represent the U.S. National Teams on the world's biggest stage as part of the next generation of elite athletes:

The best athletes from Adult Talent ID Camps will be invited to the U.S. National Team Trials, where they will have the chance to represent the red, white, and blue.

WHERE DOES THIS FIT IN THE NATIONAL TEAM PROCESS?

Adult Talent ID Camps are part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) and the U.S. National Team talent evaluation pathway.

Adult Talent ID Camps provide men and women athletes ages 18 years or older with the opportunity to showcase their talent in combine testing, flag-focused drills, and competitive scrimmages while receiving professional evaluation and feedback.

USA Football is the only organization that selects and leads the Men's and Women's U.S. National Team programs and evaluates the next generation of U.S. National Team athletes.

COACH AT A TALENT ID CAMP

USA Football provides coaches with opportunities to participate in the National Team Development Program (NTDP) through Talent ID Camps and other qualifying events.

Talent ID Camps allow coaches to demonstrate their skills in front of NTDP staff and personnel. By participating, coaches may be considered for a Select Team coaching role and gain eligibility for additional coaching opportunities offered by USA Football.

To be evaluated and considered to coach at a Talent ID Camp, you must have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Coach ID ($54.50), complete the Advanced Flag Course and SafeSport training, take an NCSI Background Check before participating in a USA Football Event and submitting your application (spots are limited, and final selection is not guaranteed).

OFFICIATE A TALENT ID CAMP

USA Football offers officials a pathway to officiating a Talent ID Camp and opportunities to work with USA Football assignors through the National Team Development Program.

Officials must have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Official ID ($44.50), complete the Flag Officials Course and SafeSport training, and pass an NCSI Background Check. Officiating spots are limited, assignment is not guaranteed, and all requirements must be completed to be eligible to officiate at a Talent ID Camp.

Adult Talent ID Camp registration is $99.00. All registrations must be completed by an adult (18 years or older).

You must also have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Adult Athlete ID, which is required for registration/participation. Talent ID Camp registration is separate from the purchase of an Athlete ID. 

Yes, you must have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Adult Athlete ID to participate in USA Football's Talent ID Camps. The TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Adult Athlete ID (auto-renews each January) includes Digital Resources, National Team eligibility, Participant Accident Insurance, and more!

Any athlete who is 18 years of age or older can register for an Adult Talent ID Camp and must have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Adult Athlete ID. Athletes ages 11-17 are eligible to participate in a Youth Talent ID Camp.

Exception: A 17 year-old athlete who will turn 18 in 2026 may attend an Adult Talent ID Camp before their 18th birthday. However, the registration for a 17 year-old athlete to attend an Adult Talent ID Camp must be completed by the athlete’s parent or legal guardian. The athlete must also have a TEAM USA FOOTBALL® Athlete ID.

Each Adult Talent ID Camp will be hosted at a different venue. As location details are finalized or updated, additional venue information will be provided to the registrants.*

Athletes who participate in an Adult Talent ID Camp will be eligible for the following competitions: 

Adults

  • Adult U.S. National Team Trials
    • Athletes who earn a roster spot on the Men's or Women's Team will compete in the international competitions for that cycle.
  • Adult Select Team (23U Women Only)
    • 2026 Select Bowl (June 17 - 20, 2026 | Los Angeles, CA) for Adult Talent ID Camp participants from June 2025 and after.

Athletes are evaluated annually for the U.S. National Teams and Junior National Teams. USA Football leads and organizes the National Team Development Program (NTDP) to support the next generation of athletes and give athletes a chance to #RepTheFlag!

USA Football is building the developmental pipeline to feed future U.S. National Teams competing in international competitions, including the Olympics. Through the NTDP, top flag football players nationwide are identified, trained, and selected for the next level of competition on USA Football's Select Teams.

With the help of U.S. National Team personnel and resources, Select Team athletes will hone their skills and raise their game as they train and compete in USA Football's Select Bowl. Top performances will further cement why they should earn an invite to the U.S. National Team Trials.

No. While National Team coaches or athletes may participate in other events, the only camps that make you eligible for a Select Team or U.S. National Team Trials invite are Talent ID Camps operated by USA Football.
