The Select Bowl presented by Under Armour is back to bring together the top rising flag athletes from across the country to train and develop their skills for the next level of national competition in front of U.S. National Team Scouts.
Athletes who join the National Team Development Program pathway and show out during a USA Football talent evaluation event can earn a spot on a Select Team that will compete at the Select Bowl.
The pathway to the Select Bowl starts for athletes at a USA Football Talent ID Camp, Official Sanctioned Tournament, or a GMTM Digital Combine, where athletes are evaluated to earn a spot on a Select Team to compete at the Select Bowl.
You must become a USA Football Athlete Member to be eligible. Your membership will also make you eligible for a Talent ID, Sanctioned Tournament, and the Select Bowl. All Athlete Members also receive access to digital resources, accident insurance, and more!
Athletes who want to get on the pathway to the Select Bowl can get seen when they show up and show out during a USA Football talent evaluation.
Whether you're just starting, looking to find that winning edge, or ready to showcase your skills in front of scouts - your pathway begins with putting your skills on display at a USA Football Talent ID Camp.
Competing in a USA Football Sanctioned Tournament, run by independent operators or leagues nationwide, allows you to showcase your skills against top athletes while providing more exposure and certified competition.
The Digital Combine on GMTM is your chance to get scouted for a U.S. National Team. Complete the drills from your own backyard to demonstrate you’re ready and capable to represent the United States on the international stage.
Athletes looking to earn a spot on a Select Team for the Select Bowl must become a USA Football Athlete Member to be eligible.
Earning an invite to the 2025 Select Bowl is an incredible opportunity for athletes to play alongside and compete against some of the best flag football players in the country on a Select Team.

Athletes prepare, train, and compete like U.S. Flag National Team athletes.
Led by specially trained coaches, Select Team practices focus on skill development, improving strength and conditioning, and preparing athletes for the national stage.
Select Team athletes compete against the next level of competition, receive elite coaching, and are evaluated similar to U.S. National Team athletes.
As part of the Select Bowl, athletes will receive education on leadership, team building, and mental focus and find out what it takes on and off the field to #RepTheFlag.
During their time at the Select Bowl, athletes will work with professional staff and position experts to prepare for the rigors of national competition.
The Select Bowl competition play is a tournament-style format where Select Teams compete against each other within their age divisions to determine which team will take 1st place.
Every Select Team athlete receives USA Football swag and exclusive gear from Under Armour, the presenting partner of the Select Bowl and the official uniform partner of the U.S. Flag National Teams.

The Select Bowl delivers additional support and resources to parents, guardians, and their athletes.
The Select Bowl allows parents and guardians to give their Select Team athlete a chance to experience what it is like to be a U.S. National Team athlete.
USA Football is officially certified by the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) as the National Governing Body (NGB) for American football. As the NGB, we select, train, and lead the Adult and Junior National Teams representing the U.S., including the 2028 Olympics.
Select Bowl offers flag football players from around the country a chance to train, compete, and be evaluated as part of the National Team Development Program (NTDP) and pathway to the U.S. National Team.

The Select Bowl allows coaches to join the National Team Development Program pathway and become the next generation of coaches eligible for the U.S. Flag National Team.
Coaches may have the opportunity to mentor across different ages, regions, and/or genders, enhancing the development of both athletes and coaches starting at Talent ID Camps. These camps will allow coaches to demonstrate their skills to be evaluated for Select Teams and other USA Football coaching opportunities.
To be considered, coaches must become a Coach Member and complete the application process (spots are limited and final selection is not guaranteed).

The National Team Development Program and its Select Teams are an exclusive, in-depth experience where you will be pushed to your next level and exposed to National Team-caliber resources, development, and engagements. There will be a registration fee to participate on Select Teams.

The registration fee ($499) for the USA Football Select Bowl covers a high-level, all-inclusive experience to support athlete development and exposure. Here's what your athlete will receive:
Athletes are selected for the team through a highly competitive and thorough process. Players are evaluated at multiple USA Football qualifying events nationwide, including Talent ID Camps, Sanctioned Events, and Digital Combines.
USA Football scouts and coaches observe athletes closely and select the top talent based on a comprehensive set of criteria. This includes not just football skills and athletic ability but also important traits like coachability, attitude, effort, and overall potential. The goal is to build a team of well-rounded players representing the best of the best across the country.
The age cutoff is 12/31/25, meaning whatever age the athlete is at this time is the division they will be placed in. For example, the age limit is 12 or younger as of December 31, 2025 to qualify for the 12U division. If an athlete is currently 12 and turns 13 later this year, he or she will qualify for the 14U division.
There are 4 teams per age group, each consisting of 12 athletes, for a total of 48 athletes per age group:
The most convenient airport for attending the USA Football Select Bowl is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). LAX is approximately 18 miles north of the event venue, Dignity Health Sports Park, at 18400 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA 90746.
There is no specific team hotel; however, USA Football service personnel will send hotel links for parents and athletes to stay at a slightly discounted rate. It is not required for parents and athletes to stay at these hotels; you are welcome to stay wherever you would like.
All coaches will need to complete a coaching application and additional steps that will be announced soon to be considered for coaching opportunities throughout the National Team Development Program and Select Bowl.

Coaches may coach other ages, regions, or genders to support opportunities and growth for athletes and coaches. USA Football is committed to providing quality instruction and resources to build the present and future of elite flag football.
While National Team coaches or athletes may participate in this space, the only camps that count as U.S. National Team Qualifying Events or that make you eligible for a Select Team are Talent ID Camps operated by USA Football.
USA Football invites around 60 men and 60 women to the Adult U.S. Flag National Team Trials. Approximately 36 boys and 36 girls are invited per division (15U and 17U) to the Junior U.S. Flag National Team Trials.
Athletes who participate in this year's Select Bowl will be eligible for the 2026 National Team Trials, which may have different participant numbers.
