Accomplishments

The 2023 U.S. 15U Girls' Flag National Team competed at the Junior International Cup at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte from July 5-7, 2023. The team defeated Japan 49-14 in the gold medal game.

Head coach Willy Perez joined the U.S. National Team staff to lead the Girls 15U team on the heels of a successful playing career spanning 21 years. Assistant coach Matthew Hernandez has 18 years of girls flag football coaching experience. Hernandez has led the Alonso High School girls flag football team to national prominence. His team is a two-time Florida High School Athletic Association State Champions and achieved an overall record of 178-44 with nine district titles, two state runner up finishes and two state titles in 17 seasons as head coach.
