YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUES RECEIVE $750,000 IN EQUIPMENT THROUGH USA FOOTBALL’S 2023 SPRING GRANTS

INDIANAPOLIS – USA Football, a Recognized Sport Organization of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and the sport's U.S. governing body, is awarding $750,000 in new football equipment to more than 1,350 youth sports organizations this spring. USA Football’s spring grants are fulfilled by partners Riddell and BSN SPORTS, who serve as leaders in protective equipment and team sports apparel, respectively. 

USA Football’s spring grants play a key part in the non-profit’s comprehensive grant program, which will aid the youth football community by awarding up to two million dollars in equipment and other resources in 2023. Deserving youth football organizations represented by dedicated coaches, inspiring community leaders and worthy role models pass on the benefits of the grants program to the young athletes they coach. 

USA Football, a youth football development partner of the NFL, receives support for its grant program from the NFL Foundation. 

“Providing young athletes with the opportunity to enjoy the many benefits of football in healthy and safe environments represents a significant part of USA Football’s mission to lead, strengthen and grow Football For All,” said USA Football CEO SCOTT HALLENBECK. “Thankfully, we’ve developed relationships with like-minded organizations in the NFL Foundation, Riddell and BSN SPORTS who also care about young athletes and their experiences. This year’s spring grants will benefit thousands of children nationwide.”

Since 2006, USA Football has awarded more than $17 million in grants to youth and school-based football programs, which has directly benefitted youth and high school players across 9,500 programs in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
