USA FOOTBALL MASTER TRAINERS SPANNING 35 STATES GATHER IN INDIANAPOLIS THIS WEEKEND FOR 2018 TRAINING
WHAT: USA Football will instruct 77 Master Trainers from 35 states in Indianapolis this weekend, March 10-11.
USA Football Master Trainers are top college, high school and youth coaches who lead coach education clinics and presentations for high school and youth programs nationwide. USA Football is the sport’s national governing body and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee. The organization trains more high school and youth football coaches combined than any organization in the United States.
Nearly 600,000 coach certifications have been completed through USA Football’s nationally endorsed Heads Up Football program since its 2012 inception. In addition, USA Football’s National Youth Tackle Practice Guidelines are endorsed by three of the largest sports medicine organizations in the U.S.: the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association

- KNENGI MARTIN, Valhalla (Calif.) H.S.; Defensive Coordinator; U.S. Women’s National Team Player
- JOHN RODERIQUE, Webb City (Mo.) H.S.; 11-time Missouri state champion
- GARY SWENSON, West Des Moines (Iowa) H.S.; 5-time Iowa state champion
