USA FOOTBALL HIRES NICOLE HOLLOMON AS DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH

INDIANAPOLIS – USA Football announced today the hiring of NICOLE HOLLOMON of Indianapolis to serve as its director of business analytics and market research. Hollomon joins USA Football following 11 years as a member of the NCAA research staff, including the past nine as its associate director of research.

USA Football is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and is the sport’s national governing body.

Hollomon, a native of Frankfort, Ind., will oversee data collections and research initiatives pertaining to football experiences across grassroots levels. She also will help identify key business opportunities and further strengthen USA Football initiatives through business analytics and data visualization, among other projects. USA Football offers nationally endorsed coach education and youth football guidelines in addition to managing U.S. National Teams for world championships sanctioned by the sport’s international federation. Indianapolis-based USA Football trains more high school and youth football coaches combined than any organization in the United States.

“Football, particularly on scholastic and youth levels, captures our imaginations in exciting and inspiring ways.  There is a fantastic opportunity here to provide greater content and context to football and its vast community,” Hollomon said. “The brightest national governing bodies of sport continually innovate and reimagine their sports – this is why USA Football is so respected across athletic, academic and sports medicine circles. Contributing to that forward thinking is tremendously exciting, especially for someone in my field.”

“Nicole’s wealth of knowledge spanning the latest research methods and strategies melded with her fervor for America’s favorite sport make her an exceptional fit for USA Football,” said USA Football CEO SCOTT HALLENBECK. “Her insight will help lift the entire football family in new ways and I am pleased to welcome her to our team.”

Hollomon earned her master’s degree in athletic administration/sport management from Indiana University after gaining her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in sport management and communication.
