USA FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES ROSTERS TO COMPETE AGAINST CANADA IN RIVALRY SERIES NEXT MONTH IN LOS ANGELES

Team USA Football prepares for World Championship defense with exhibition game in LA

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – USA Football, the sport's National Governing Body responsible for selecting, training and leading Team USA Football® in international events, including the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, announced the rosters that will compete in the organization’s upcoming Rivalry Series against Canada next month in Los Angeles.

Rivalry Series is an international friendly and a core pillar of USA Football’s Summer Series, a week-long celebration of flag football held at Dignity Health Sports Park. Summer Series turns Los Angeles into a global stage for the future of flag football. The series strengthens international flag football competition in preparation for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles and beyond while celebrating the athletes, teams and nations shaping the future of the sport.

USA Football’s U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams recently concluded their second training camp of the spring at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center. Following the completion of camp, U.S. National Team coaches and personnel trimmed the rosters from 24 athletes to 18 each.

The 18-athlete rosters are comprised of elite talents, including former collegiate and professional athletes, reigning International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Flag Football World Champions and standout talent transfers from basketball, tackle football and track & field.

The U.S. National Teams will return to Chula Vista in June for a third training camp before traveling to Los Angeles to face Canada in Rivalry Series, an exhibition designed to promote international competition and the sport’s growth.

These athletes will compete to secure roster spots for the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Düsseldorf, Germany. The final 12-athlete rosters and alternates will be determined following Summer Series.

The U.S. Men’s National Team has won five consecutive IFAF Flag Football World Championships, including a pair with current quarterback, Darrell “Housh” Doucette. The U.S. Women’s National Team has won the past three World Championships.
