INDIANAPOLIS – USA Football has announced the Adult Elite Championship Tournament Series, a collection of three tournaments hosted by USA Football ahead of The One Flag Championship. These tournaments will feature men’s and women’s divisions, with a co-ed division being introduced at The One Flag Championship.

Tournaments will feature the International Federation of American Football’s (IFAF) 5v5 flag football rules, on-field cameras to capture gameplay and highlights and the highest competitive standards available. Prizes awarded at these tournaments will include gold medals, prize money and full bids to compete in The One Flag Championship.

2023 Adult Elite Championship Tournament Series:

April 1, 2023 – Dallas, Texas

June 3, 2023 – Bradenton, Florida

June 17, 2023 – San Diego, California

July 7-9, 2023 – Charlotte, North Carolina (The One Flag Championship)

The One Flag Championship culminates on July 7-9 at the United States Performance Center in Charlotte, N.C.

“We’re very excited to announce the inclusion of these standard-setting adult tournaments into our 2023 events calendar,” said USA Football Managing Director of High Performance and National Teams, ERIC MAYES. “These tournaments will help USA Football build a community around the best of the sport by connecting with flag football’s most competitive athletes and teams. Also, these tournaments will be a fundamental piece of our talent identification process for the U.S. National Team. For those aspiring to represent their country, there’s no better opportunity to be evaluated.”

USA Football’s Adult Elite Championship Tournament Series is the only adult tournament series where athletes will be scouted for a 2024 U.S. National Teams Trials invite. Athletes invited to Trials will be under consideration to join the 2024 U.S. Flag National Team.

USA Football’s U.S. Men’s and Women’s Flag National Teams won gold medals at the 2021 IFAF Flag Football World Championship in Jerusalem, Israel and claimed podium spots at The World Games 2022 in Birmingham, Ala.
