TEAM USA FOOTBALL SETS FINAL JUNIOR FLAG FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM ROSTERS FOR 2026 JUNIOR INTERNATIONAL CUP
Top 15U and 17U athletes will represent the U.S. in Los Angeles in June as part of USA Football’s Summer Series
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. & CHULA VISTA, CALIF. – USA Football, the sport’s National Governing Body responsible for selecting, training and leading Team USA Football® in tackle and flag football for international competitions, including the 2028 Olympics, has announced the final rosters for Team USA Football’s 15U and 17U U.S. Boys’ and Girls’ National Teams that will compete in the 2026 Junior International Cup.
USA Football held a training camp at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center in California from April 16-19 to determine each final 12-athlete roster and designate alternates. Athletes on the final roster will travel to Los Angeles in June for the fifth edition of the Junior International Cup, which will be played at Dignity Health Sports Park as part of USA Football’s Summer Series.
“With the Olympics in 2028, the level of talent coming through USA Football’s pipeline keeps getting better and better, and you could see it on the field this week,” said USA Football Senior Director of High Performance and National Team Operations, Callie Brownson. “The competition at training camp was fantastic, and our coaches did a great job getting the best out of our teams. With our rosters set, our work shifts to preparing for the Junior International Cup."
While competing in the Junior International Cup, athletes will gain exposure to five-on-five Olympic-style flag football and further develop the skills they need to thrive on an international stage. The Junior National Teams are part of USA Football’s National Team Pathway, which offers athletes opportunities to represent their country from the youth level through adulthood.
