NATION’S BEST FLAG FOOTBALL PLAYERS DESCEND ON CHARLOTTE FOR MEN’S AND WOMEN’S 2025 U.S. NATIONAL TEAM TRIALS
Top 120 men and women compete to represent their country. U.S. National Teams to compete in IFAF Americas Continental Championship this summer.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – USA Football, the sport’s governing body responsible for selecting, leading and training the U.S. National Teams for international competition, including the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics, will host 120 of the best men and women combined from March 20-23 for U.S. National Team Trials. The event will be held at the United States Performance Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
The nation’s best flag football players – 60 men and 60 women – will compete in athletic testing, on-field drills, 1-on-1 and 5-on-5 work for roster spots on the 2025 U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams. These athletes come from across the United States, representing 18 states from coast to coast. A full list of Trials participants can be found here.
Last year’s U.S. National Teams both defended their world championship titles in Lahti, Finland against the largest pool of competing international teams ever.
Only 18 men and 18 women will advance from Trials to U.S. National Team Training Camp, which will decide the final 12-athlete rosters. This year’s teams will compete in international friendlies and the International Federation of American Football’s (IFAF) Americas Continental Championship later this year. The U.S. Women’s National Team will also compete in The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.
