METROPLEX-AREA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STANDOUTS AND ALL OF U.S. UNDER-19 NATIONAL TEAM VISIT GREEN OAKS SCHOOL IN ARLINGTON

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – Competing in International Bowl X, presented by USA Football, the U.S. Under-19 National Team in football will visit Green Oaks School in Arlington from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17. The team will lead football drills and activities and provide the students with tickets to International Bowl X games this Friday at AT&T Stadium. Green Oaks is a Christian school and an adult program for students with intellectual disabilities in the North Texas area.

The day after visiting Green Oaks students, the U.S. Under-19 National Team will face Team Tamaulipas, comprised of top players from across the northeastern Mexican state of 3.5 million residents. The game’s 8 p.m. kickoff at AT&T Stadium will cap the eight-game 2019 International Bowl series, featuring top high school-aged football players from Canada, Japan, Mexico, Panama and the United States. The event is the world’s largest annual global football competition.

All International Bowl games are broadcast live to a global audience on ESPN3.

  • LB Kamryn Farrar, Dallas Skyline H.S.; scholarship accepted from Oklahoma State University
  • WR Nolan Matthews, Frisco Reedy H.S.; scholarship accepted from Arizona State University
  • WR Donovan Ollie, Wylie H.S.; scholarship accepted from Washington State
  • RB Darrin Smith, Frisco Lone Star H.S.; uncommitted
  • OL Preston Wilson, Argyle H.S.; scholarship accepted from Oklahoma State
