INTERNATIONAL BOWL IX FEATURING TOP FOOTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES FROM EIGHT COUNTRIES TO BE TELECAST ACROSS ESPN PLATFORMS
Canadian, Japanese, Mexican, Nordic and U.S. teams compete at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
Indianapolis – Featuring top high school- and middle school-aged players spanning eight countries on three continents, the 12 games comprising USA Football’s International Bowl IX will be shown to a global audience across ESPN platforms on Jan. 12, 17 and 19.
In the United States, ESPN3 will stream live all 12 International Bowl IX games from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. ESPNU will then rebroadcast the U.S. Under-19 National Team vs. Football Canada’s Under-19 National Team on Saturday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. EST/9 a.m. CST. The Under-19 national team matchup will be streamed live on ESPN3 on Jan. 19, at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CST.
In addition, games will be made available across ESPN digital platforms in Spanish-speaking Latin America and the Caribbean on ESPN Play, and WatchESPN in Brazil and Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
The series of games feature more than 1,000 student-athletes from across the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico and the Nordic region encompassing athletes from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The International Bowl is American Football’s largest annual global competition.
