ESPNU TO AIR REPLAY OF U.S. UNDER-19 NATIONAL TEAM VS. TAMAULIPAS OF MEXICO FROM INTERNATIONAL BOWL X AT AT&T STADIUM
INDIANAPOLIS – ESPNU will nationally broadcast a re-airing of the U.S. Under-19 National Team vs. Team Tamaulipas (Mexico) game from International Bowl X at AT&T Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. ET/9 a.m. CT.
The U.S. Under-19 National Team vs. Tamaulipas game is the final matchup of this year’s eight-game International Bowl series, encompassing American Football’s largest annual global competition.
In addition to being carried on ESPNU Sunday, the contest will be webcast live to a worldwide audience on ESPN3 Friday, Jan. 18, at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.
Forty-two (42) high school student-athletes spanning 15 states comprise the 2019 U.S. Under-19 National Team, managed by USA Football. USA Football is the exclusive U.S. Olympic Committee member organization solely dedicated to American Football.
ERIC KASPEROWICZ, head coach of Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia, Pa., will lead the U.S. U-19 National Team in Friday night’s game against Tamaulipas. In six seasons as head coach of the Rams, Kasperowicz’s teams have a 64-16 (.800) record and earned the school’s first PIAA state title in 2017. As a high school student-athlete, Kasperowicz earned 1993 Parade All-American honors and played in the prestigious Big 33 All-Star Game as a quarterback for perennial power Pittsburgh North Hills High School. He went on to play at the University of Pittsburgh on a football scholarship as quarterback and linebacker for the Panthers.
