15 AND THE MAHOMIES FOUNDATION AND USA FOOTBALL AWARD GRANTS TO YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAMS ACROSS GREATER KANSAS CITY REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The 15 and the Mahomies Foundation, founded by Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and USA Football have teamed up to award grants to youth football programs throughout the greater Kansas City area. Given the foundation’s dedication to improving the lives of children and USA Football’s role as the sport’s national governing body, both work together to implement healthy, sustainable and productive youth football programs across the region.
As a tribute to Mahomes’ jersey number, 15 area youth leagues earned a $2,000 operating grant from BSN Sports, the largest team sports equipment and apparel distributor in the United States. Grants from BSN Sports were made possible by 15 and the Mahomies Foundation and were awarded based on need, merit and an organization’s commitment to coaching education and best practices. Organizations applied for grants through USA Football’s website (usafootball.com).

- Northland Phantoms – Kansas City, Mo.
- Parkville Vikings Youth Football and Cheer – Parkville, Mo.
- Pierce City Mighty Mite Football – Pierce City, Mo.
- South Suburban Junior Football Association – Kansas City, Mo.
- University Academy – Kansas City, Mo.
- Y.E.R.P. Dark Knights Football Organization – Kansas City, Mo.
