U.S. Flag National Teams
USA Football is the only organization to select, train, and lead the U.S. Flag National Teams in International Federation of American Football (IFAF) competitions, including the 2028 Olympics.
The U.S. Flag National Team program consists of the top-ranked teams featuring the best players in the country and sustains competitive success on the field by developing the next generation of elite athletes.
PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Being part of the U.S. National Team means joining a standard of excellence that extends past, present and future.
The Men's National Team won six of the last seven IFAF Flag World Championships, and the Women's National Team won the last three.
The Men's and Women's Teams are both the top ranked teams in the IFAF Flag Football World Rankings.
The Men's and Women's Teams went a combined 15-0 at the 2024 IFAF Flag World Championships.

PATHWAY TO GOLD
Through our National Team program, we provide a pathway for athletes and coaches to reach the highest level of the game in both tackle and flag football and compete for gold medals. USA Football is the National Governing Body (NGB) for American Football in the United States and the sole U.S. member of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF), the international governing body for the sport of American football.
Our National Team athletes and coaches represent the highest level of competition and the standard of excellence for our game. They represent the U.S. in international competitions, including IFAF Continental & World Championships, the World Games, and the 2028 Olympics.
TEAM TRAINING CENTER
The United States Performance Center (USPC) is a state-of-the-art training and research facility in Charlotte, N.C. and serves as the home of the U.S. Flag National Teams.
USA Football partners with the USPC to support the National Team programs and athlete training to identify and develop both current and future National Team athletes through:
