THE RIVARLY RETURNS

Two of the world’s top flag football powers meet again on one of the sport’s biggest stages. On Thursday, February 5, USA Football and the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Americano (FMFA) reignite their rivalry in the USA vs. Mexico Flag Football Showcase presented by Toyota at the Super Bowl Experience in San Francisco.

After years of gold-medal battles, the rivalry returns for the first time since 2023 at the Super Bowl LX Flag Fieldhouse inside the Moscone Center at 7 p.m. ET.

Tickets to the game are included in Super Bowl Experience admission on February 5 ($40; kids 12 and under free), or you can watch the game live on the NFL’s YouTube channel and on demand via NFL+.

IFAF declared the U.S. and Mexico men's teams co-champions of the 2025 Americas Continentals after weather forced the gold-medal game to be canceled—leaving unfinished business.

THE HISTORY

The margins are thin. The U.S. edged Mexico 40–36 at the 2023 IFAF Americas Continental Championship and claimed a 44–41 victory in the 2021 IFAF Flag Football World Championship.
