We're here to lead, strengthen, and grow the game alongside you as the National Governing Body for Football in the United States, through world-class education, events, resources, and the National Team pathway. As a non-profit, USA Football delivers premier developmental and competitive programs for tackle and flag football.
USA Football selects, trains, and leads the U.S National Teams in tackle and flag football and is the sole U.S. member of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF), the international governing body for the sport of American football.

Athletes can be evaluated at Talent ID Camps, Digital Combines, and other National Team Development Program qualifying events to start their path towards competing on a U.S. National Team, Select Team, and eventually in the Summer 2028 Olympics.

The Football Development Model is designed to help coaches teach athletes based on their age, the skill they are learning and game type. Our approach assists with the development of young athletes and allows them to learn the game and related skills in a progression that best suits them.
