Screening your coaches and staff who interact with your athletes helps make the game safer by identifying potential risks, preventing harm, and enhancing your league's reputation.
The National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) provides background screening packages for youth organizations, allowing your league to submit, track, and access NCSI background checks easily.
NCSI is a leader in youth-centered background screening solutions, providing strict and secure protection for individuals and organizations. Through in-depth investigations, NCSI goes beyond a standard database-only search to provide thorough screenings with:
✓ Two multi-jurisdictional database searches (MJD)
✓ Two sex offender registry searches (SOR)
✓ Social security number validation
✓ Name and address history records
✓ OFAC and multiple other national watch lists
✓ All jurisdiction (county) searches within 7 years of address history
✓ Additional country criminal records search based on MJD results
✓ Federal district court searches within 7 years of address history
✓ One recheck of MJDs and SORs 12 months after full check is completed
✓ US Olympic and Paralympic Committee compliant
NCSI is the only background check endorsed by the National Council of Youth Sports with screening solutions trusted by over 4,500 youth sports organizations and 60 National Governing Bodies.
NCSI is USA Football's preferred background screening solutions provider, offering compliant checks for youth organizations for as low as $15.00 per coach annually for a two-year check, including a 12-month follow-up.
NCSI premium background checks are National Council for Youth Sports approved and US Olympic and Paralympic Committee compliant. Commissioners, Presidents, or league representatives can sign up to order NCSI background checks for their entire league. This option allows ordering multiple NCSI background checks.
