USA Football and FieldTurf annually award field-building grants with each recipient receiving a $50,000 grant voucher toward the purchase of a FieldTurf synthetic field. Our goal is to bring higher quality, durable football fields to the communities that need them the most. Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death for youth and teen athletes during exercise.

The majority of athletes who suffer SCA on the field show no warning symptoms. Knowing how to react is crucial when a cardiac event occurs. Ensure your program is equipped with the right tools and training to react properly when an incident occurs.

USA Football has partnered with Physio-Control to make automated defibrillators (AEDs) more available to football coaches, athletes, trainers, and fans.

Youth football organizations who hold a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status, and school sponsored football programs at the elementary, middle, junior high, and senior high school levels are all eligible.

Also eligible are affiliates of the following nonprofit organizations who host youth football leagues and programs:

  • Amateur Athletic Union
  • American Youth Football
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of America
  • Catholic Youth Organizations
  • Jewish Community Centers Association
  • National Police Athletic League
  • National Recreation & Park Association
  • Pop Warner and YMCA
  • United Youth Football & Cheer

Grants are awarded based on need and merit, as well as a program’s commitment to coaching education and best practices.
