Five international players selected in NFL Draft
By Michael Prestson, IFAF Mon, 04/30/2012 - 11:38amFootball truly is a burgeoning sport on the international stage.
The 2012 NFL Draft showed more evidence of that.
Led by Dallas Cowboys’ third-round pick Tyrone Crawford of Boise State and Windsor, Ont., a record five international football players were selected by NFL teams last weekend.
Joining the defensive end Crawford were countrymen Philip Blake (Baylor, OL, Broncos) and Christo Bilukidi (Georgia State, DT, Raiders). Englishman Jack Crawford (Penn State, DE, Raiders) and Markus Kuhn (N.C. State, DE, Giants) also were selected.
