Deciding who plays guard or tackle on the offensive line doesn’t seem like a big deal to casual football observers.

For coaches, though, it can be the difference between success and struggle on offense.

A youth football coach recently emailed USA Football and asked about assigning positions to his offensive line. Where should he line up his tall, lean players vs. his short, stocky ones.
