The top-10 football movies for your family movie night

By Jackie Bledsoe Jr. | Posted 3/4/2015

I'm not a big TV person, but I do enjoy watching a nice movie with my family. If you've hopped over to my blog and read any of my posts, you'll see that Family Movie Night is something we do on a regular basis, and our entire family enjoys it.

There are a lot of movies out there, but not all the good ones are family-friendly. Our youngest child is 4, so we try to find movies that interest a 39-year-old (me) down to a 4-year-old. Not easy all the time, but we manage to do it.

Football movies for Family Movie Night

One way to do this is to find movies based on something everybody enjoys. If you're reading the Football Parent section of USAFootball.com, then your entire family probably enjoys the game of football.

So for us football families, I thought it'd be a great idea to come up with a list of football-related family-friendly movies. Here is 10 football movies for your family to enjoy.

  1. Facing the Giants
  2. Remember the Titans
  3. The Blind Side
  4. Rudy (see our review here)
  5. We Are Marshall
  6. Radio
  7. Little Giants (see our review here)
  8. Brian's Song
  9. Invincible
  10. The Express

This list should give you some good football movie options for your next, or even first, Family Movie Night.

What is your favorite football movie?
