For the fourth consecutive year, USA Football and FieldTurf will be accepting applications for their annual Field Building Grants Program. Municipalities, school systems and tax-exempt youth leagues are eligible for a grant, in the form of a $50,000 credit, to be used toward the purchase of a FieldTurf synthetic field.

Since 2011, the USA Football and FieldTurf partnership has contributed to the construction of five new finished fields, and more grant-aided projects are currently in the works.

Applications can be made at www.usafootball.com/fieldgrants and will be accepted through May 15. Grants will be awarded based on merit and need.

USA Football, the sport’s national governing body in the United States, manages U.S. national teams in the sport and is one of 67 national federations, spanning six continents, dedicated solely to football. USA Football trains more high school and youth football coaches combined than any other organization in the U.S.

FieldTurf, the official synthetic turf provider of USA Football since 2011, is the global leader in the manufacturing of synthetic turf sports fields. FieldTurf has installed thousands of football fields at the high school and municipal level throughout the United States, in addition to more than 100 football fields for NCAA Division I schools along with game and/or practice fields for 21 of the NFL’s 32 teams.
